Daily Spend Limit (DSL)
Spend Scenario Calculator
Platforms apply spending limits to ad accounts that can constrain delivery when your target spend exceeds them. Limits vary by account and are set by the platform. This calculator models an illustrative scenario from your own inputs: enter a target daily spend, an assumed daily cap, an assumed ROAS and AOV to estimate how a cap would affect spend, gross revenue and orders in this hypothetical scenario.
How does the Daily Spend Limit (DSL) spend scenario calculator model the effect of a cap?
Daily spending limits can constrain delivery when your target spend exceeds the limit applied to your account. Check your actual account settings rather than assuming a generic tier. The calculator compares two hypothetical paths built from your inputs: Scenario Gap = max(0, Target Daily Spend − Assumed Daily Cap) × Assumed ROAS × Scenario Days. The gap is a hypothetical estimate, not an actual or expected loss: real delivery depends on platform decisions, and the calculation excludes COGS, fees and taxes. No account structure — including managed agency infrastructure — overrides platform policies, payment review, or enforcement, and no provider can promise a specific cap, approval, or outcome.

Documented account ownership and access terms, provider or consolidated billing under a written agreement, and coordinated incident support. Availability depends on contract terms and platform review; no platform outcome is guaranteed.
How Platforms Apply Daily Spending Limits
Spending and billing limits depend on the platform and account. Check your current account settings and the applicable official documentation rather than assuming the calculator presets describe your account.
Review the limit displayed in your account and any payment or account-review notice. A cap, a failed payment and an account restriction are different problems; follow the platform's process for the issue actually shown.
Self-serve accounts typically pay from a payment method; platforms document billing options such as monthly invoicing and credit lines for eligible businesses, subject to the platform's underwriting and approval. Payment failures can pause delivery.
An agency or managed arrangement changes the operating model: who owns the account, who is billed under a written agreement, and who coordinates support. It does not exempt an account from platform policies, payment review, or enforcement — those decisions remain with the platform.
